Caroline is the head of the firm’s Private Client department and has over 20 years’ experience in assisting clients with writing Wills and the administration of estates and trusts. Caroline has worked at Hughes Paddison since 2014.
Caroline’s has a friendly but professional approach to her work in helping personal representatives (PRs) navigate the estate administration process. Caroline strongly recommends seeking professional advice at the outset of an estate administration, even if there are matters that the PRs wish to undertake themselves.
Luigi is a Solicitor of over 25 years’ experience who joined Hughes Paddison in 2021. Like all members of the Team he advises on and acts in the drafting of Wills and Powers of Attorney, and the administration of estates. Luigi has particular interests in the setting up and administration of Trusts, Commercial Powers of Attorney and in Court of Protection instructions, and has acted for Deputies, Attorneys and family members in a variety of disputed matters concerning capacity and the removal and replacement of unsuitable Attorneys.
Coming from a litigation background Luigi has acted in a wide variety of family, contentious probate and Inheritance Act matters, and with this experience is a link between the Private Client Department and our other dedicated departments of Family, Litigation and Company.
Gabrielle is a Chartered Legal Executive and joined Hughes Paddison in April 2021. Gabrielle has over 10 years’ experience in assisting clients with their Wills and supporting families in the administration of estates and trusts.
Gabrielle prides herself on having a kind but practical approach with her clients. Gabrielle is a Dementia Friend and has recently qualified as a Society of Trusts and Estate Practitioners (STEP) accredited Will Writer.
Leah is a Solicitor and has almost 2 years’ post-qualification experience working in the Private Client department. Leah joined Hughes Paddison in October 2018 and also completed her training with the firm.
Leah is currently working towards her Trusts & Estates Diploma with the Society of Trusts & Estate Practitioners (STEP), the internationally recognised and most comprehensive qualification in the trusts and estates field. Leah has recently completed her Advanced Certificate in Administration of Estates, achieving a Distinction grade and is also a Dementia Friend.
Leah always strives to carry out her work with a professional and conscientious attitude, combined with an understanding of the need to provide clear, concise and practical advice tailored to her client's requirements and circumstances.
Claire is a Graduate Legal Executive and has worked in the Private Client department at Hughes Paddison since 2018, having previously worked as a Private Client paralegal. She is currently working on her portfolio in order to qualify as a Chartered Legal Executive.
Claire assists the team with all aspects of estate administration and aims to provide a professional and friendly service to personal representatives from the start of the administration process to its completion.
