Hughes Paddison nominated for Recruitment Award

Hughes Paddison are pleased to announce their nomination in the ‘Best Recruiter – Small Firm’ category at the LawCareers.Net Training & Recruitment Awards 2020.

LawCareers.Net (LCN) is a widely recognised leading online resource created for future lawyers. The online site contains useful information such as editorial content, directories of employers & legal educators, and practical tools.

The awards are based on an extensive survey of over 2,000 trainees and newly qualified solicitors, with respondents asked to assess their own experiences and score their firm on its recruitment, training, work placement scheme and training principal.

The nominated firms represent employers who are top performing in terms of their support of trainees and junior lawyers.

The ‘Best Recruiter - Small Firm’ award endorses those firms that place significant time and resource to setting trainees on the right path as they start their careers. This includes how firms support, assess and communicate with trainees through the recruitment process and beyond.

Jennifer Allen, Director and Trainee Supervisor at Hughes Paddison said “I am so proud of our training programme. Recruiting trainees is a vital part of investing in the future of Hughes Paddison and we aim to give candidates every opportunity to demonstrate their talent and potential as well as a feel for the firm. It is so satisfying for our work to be recognised by being nominated for this award.”

The awards ceremony will be taking place virtually this year, on Thursday 14 May 2020 at 15:00.
