New Director appointed in the Private Client Team

We are pleased to announce that Caroline Farmer of the firm’s Private Client Department has recently been appointed as a Director of the firm and head of the Private Client Department.

Caroline has been with the firm since 2014 and prior to that worked as a Private Client lawyer for another well-regarded local firm for 14 years.  The Private Client team at Hughes Paddison comprises Caroline, Peter Jackson (consultant solicitor), Sue Senkbeil (associate solicitor) and Claire Holland (trainee legal executive).  Between them the team are very experienced in a wide range of Private Client matters and pride themselves on providing a high level of service. 

Caroline says “I am delighted to be joining the board of Directors at Hughes Paddison.  I very much enjoy working here and have felt very committed to the firm since I first joined.  I look forward to taking the Private Client department forward to ensure that our clients always receive an excellent standard of advice and service, backed up by the latest technology and benefitting from the wealth of experience within the department.  We often meet people when they might be dealing with, or facing the prospect of, a bereavement.  My team and I want to make our clients feel well-supported in making informed decisions about their own affairs or those of an estate or trust that they are administering.”

The team specialise in the preparation of Wills and Lasting Powers of Attorney, estate planning and Inheritance Tax advice, Probate and estate administration, trust creation and advice, and Court of Protection application.  The firm can also advise on contentious probate matters.
