Role: Solicitor - Private Client
Full-time: 9.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m. Monday to Friday
Key Requirements and Technical Ability
You will be a Solicitor with 5 – 10 years PQE.
You must be STEP qualified or working towards a STEP qualification. While you may have some third parties who introduce work to you, you will have experience of working with colleagues in other practice areas to encourage the referral of clients to the Private Client department. Ideally you will have an interest in development and maintenance of precedents and you will be able to see the benefits of using a case management system for your work.

Legal Secretary – Company Commercial / Corporate
We are seeking an experienced Legal Secretary to join our team, working full time in our Company Commercial Department.
The successful candidate must have worked in the legal sector as a secretary and will have excellent knowledge of MS Word, including document formatting and tracking. You will have good communication and client care skills and will be used to working in a busy environment. Your duties will include use of Proclaim case management software, transcription of digital dictation, diary management, handling of confidential information and liaising with clients. Ideally you will be familiar with company commercial/corporate work, although this is not essential as training will be provided.

The Directors of Hughes Paddison are pleased to announce that we are now accepting applications for law graduates who meet our rigorous criteria for training contract positions and who ideally will have passed their LPC by the time their training contract commences. Trained supervisors will guide you through your training contract and your progress will be appraised regularly.
