Hughes Paddison served-up a winning combination of sport, networking and fundraising at our very first Charity Padel Tournament, held yesterday in support of our Charity of the Year, Maggie's Cheltenham.

The tournament took place at The Padel Club Gloucester, where players from across the local business community took to the courts for an energetic afternoon of competition, camaraderie and plenty of laughter.
This year is particularly special for Maggie’s Cheltenham as they celebrate 15 years of supporting people affected by cancer. As part of the wider Maggie's Centres network, the centre provides emotional, practical and financial support to people living with cancer, as well as their families and friends.
We were delighted to welcome 20 teams representing a fantastic range of local professional firms and businesses, all coming together to support this important cause.
Participating organisations included:
…and of course, several enthusiastic teams from Hughes Paddison, including Jon Rathbone, Caroline Farmer, James Burrows, Neil Belcher, Frances Hodgson and Victoria Hamplett.
Congratulations to our tournament winners: Mark Evans, A2Z Wealth Management and Mark Dufty, Goodflex Rubber.

A fantastic performance on the day!
A big well done as well to our runners-up:
Giles Barton, Bart Homes
James Mitten, Terrano Group
Thanks to the generosity of everyone involved, we are delighted to have raised £1,375 for Maggie’s Cheltenham.
A special thank you goes to the brilliant team at The Padel Club Gloucester, whose support and enthusiasm helped make the event run so smoothly and ensured everyone had a fantastic experience both on and off the court.
Most importantly, we would like to thank every team, player and supporter who attended and donated. The energy and goodwill throughout the afternoon showed just how powerful the local business community can be when it comes together for a meaningful cause.
With great rallies, friendly competition and plenty of smiles along the way, the tournament proved to be a huge success.
It was a truly fun afternoon — and judging by the enthusiasm on the day, this may well become a firm fixture in the Hughes Paddison calendar next year.
