Claire is a Chartered Legal Executive with the Private Client Department

Claire advises people on their Wills and Inheritance Tax position, as well as the preparation of Lasting Powers of Attorney, mental capacity, estate and trust administration.

Experience

  • Claire graduated from the University of Warwick in 2002 with a BA (Hons) in Comparative American Studies, and then an LLB (Hons) from the University of London in 2009.
  • She completed her studies with the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives with a Distinction in Private Client Law and then after a career break, completed her qualifying work experience whilst working with Hughes Paddison in the Private Client Department from 2018.
  • Claire qualified as a Chartered Legal Executive in 2025. 

Memberships

Claire is on the Hughes Paddison Charity Committee and has volunteered at various events for our chosen Charity. 

Outside of work

Claire loves spending time in the outdoors with her family, paddle boarding and going for long walks. Indoors, she likes to curl up with a good book.
