Joe is a paralegal in the Property Litigation Team.  

Skills

Joe helps drafting forms and applications within court proceedings as well as analysis of financial disclosure. Joe particularly enjoys research on novel and technical points of procedural law. In his time at Hughes Paddison, Joe has assisted on a vast range of cases, some with challenging aspects of non-disclosure and some involving complex assets and international elements. Joe is always conscious of efficiency, and is able to assist our team in order to keep costs as low and proportionate as possible.

Experience

Joe obtained an A - Star First-Class Honours Degree placed 2nd overall in his year. He won several undergraduate academic prizes and won his university’s mooting competition. He completed the Bar Professional Training Course at BPP University, London and was called to the bar with a scholarship from Lincoln’s Inn. He later obtained a master’s degree from the University of Cambridge with a full Sir Isaac Newton scholarship, and was awarded the prize for best academic performance in his college.

Outside of work

A keen cyclist, Joe enjoys the outdoors though is passionate about music in equal measure. He will happily spend time playing the piano when the weather prohibits a day on the bike.
