Roanna is a Solicitor within our Litigation Department and regularly assists with commercial, civil and property litigation matters.

Roanna works closely with our Joint Managing Director, Rachel Stewart, across a broad range of high value and complex disputes, whilst also maintaining her own varied caseload. Roanna assists both company clients and individual clients and is able to adjust her style to suit a particular client’s needs. directors.

Experience

• Successfully concluding an inheritance claim on behalf of a widow following a history of strained family relations.
• Advising in relation to a tri-partite breach of contract dispute and concluding matters through negotiation.
• Assisting in a complex commercial dispute including obtaining a freezing injunction.
• Advising on challenges against the validity of a Will, including testamentary capacity.
• Advising on executor duties in the context of a disputed estate.
• Assisting with a forfeiture appeal in the Upper Tier Tribunal and associated claims to recover unpaid service charge fees.
• Dealing with both the High Court and County Court.
• Roanna graduated from Swansea University with a First Class LLB Law degree and  completed her Legal Practice Course with the University of Law obtaining a distinction.
• Roanna joined Hughes Paddison in March 2022 as a Paralegal and commenced her Solicitor Training contract in April 2022.
• Roanna qualified as a Solicitor in April 2024.

Outside of work

Outside of work Roanna enjoys spending time with her friends and family, visiting Pembrokeshire and exploring the great outdoors in the company of her family’s spaniels.
