What we look for in a trainee

To thrive with us as a trainee, you need to be passionate and driven, an analytical thinker with great attention to detail, excellent organisational and time management skills and the ability to communicate concisely, both in written and verbal communication.

You’ll relish being part of a team, not afraid to roll-up your sleeves and help out when its required. You’ll be calm under pressure, flexible to meet deadlines, commercially aware and have a sense of humour.

The Application Process

Our four-stage recruitment process is designed to determine if you have what we are looking for to succeed as a trainee or a paralegal/apprentice.

Stage 1

You are required to submit a written application including a CV and covering letter.  We will assess you on the quality of your application including structure, grammar, and punctuation.  We also want to know which route to qualification you are applying for and why.

Please note applications that do not include a covering letter will automatically be rejected along with applications received after the deadline has close.

 Stage 2

If your application has been selected, you will be invited to attend a virtual interview with HR and a director.

Stage 3

Our assessment centre is held at our offices in Cheltenham. For those selected to attend, you will be asked to participate in a number of different exercises including a group case study discussion, a paired exercise and an individual written task.

Stage 4

The final stage is a face-to-face interview at our offices in Cheltenham with one or two of our directors.
