About this event
Employment contracts exist to protect the interests of both businesses and their employees and form the agreement, terms and basis for the relationship. Getting the right employment contract in place when making a hire for your business, is fundamental to setting expectations and outlining rights and can help to prevent avoidable pitfalls further down the line.
Whether you are recruiting staff for the first time, or are responsible for HR compliance and ensuring your company is meeting it’s legal requirements, this seminar will give you the guidance you need to help you to get the right contract in place. The session will give you an understanding of the different types of employment contract, the considerations to bear in mind when employing staff and the relevant employment law you will need to be aware of. The session will also cover the changes and impacts brought about by IR35, from an employer and employee perspective, through to your responsibilities to staff under the different types of employment contract.
The seminar will guide you through everything you need to know and there will be an opportunity to discuss issues you face and have any questions answered. There will also be time to network with other local businesses and speak to HR consultants and Kimberley herself, with refreshments provided.
