Jennifer Allen

Jennifer is a Director who has been with the firm since 2006. She is a solicitor in our Family Department and specialises in dealing with divorcing/ cohabiting couples and financial matters that arise upon separation.

Jennifer also assists clients with family matters including pre-nuptial agreements, arrangements for children, domestic abuse / injunctions and Trusts of Land and Appointment of Trustees Act matters. She is a member of Resolution (formerly the Solicitors Family Law Association – SFLA). Jennifer is on the Board of Advisors for the Cheltenham Child Contact Centre.

In Jennifer’s role as a mediator, she assists clients reach a fair outcome between themselves to avoid contentious court proceedings and the associated cost and pressure of court. Mediation is just one of the many dispute resolution options which Jennifer can advise on, she can also discuss with you other alternatives including Early Neutral Evaluation and Private Financial Dispute resolution, Family Arbitration and Collaborative Law.

Jennifer has local, national and international clients. She prides herself on her flexible approach and will work with her client’s remotely using video calls, such as Zoom and MS Teams, to accommodate their needs.

Jennifer enjoys keeping fit by going to spinning classes at the gym, running and has competed on Wixford Ted, a horse owned by a local owner. She has taken Ted to British One Day Eventing and Team Chasing. Jennifer is married and has a daughter and two Hungarian Vizsla’s called Purdey and Vesper.
