Laura is a Chartered Legal Executive and an Associate in the Residential Conveyancing Department. Laura runs a team specialising in newbuild retirement purchases as well as acting for residential property clients on their matters including freehold and leasehold sales and purchases and re-mortgages.

Laura has worked in conveyancing for over ten years, starting out as a secretary, and is now a qualified Chartered Legal Executive. Laura enjoys assisting clients who are moving home.

Landlord's dispensation for major works: getting it right

Many residential landlords will be familiar with the requirement to consult with tenants before major works are carried out. The landlord's right to seek dispensation from the Tribunal where it has failed to consult is perhaps less well understood.
