Sandra is a Trainee in our Residential Property Department and has worked in conveyancing in the local area since 2015.

Sandra enjoys expanding her legal knowledge, and conveyancing has kept her interest due to the diversity of the matters where no two transactions are the same. She takes pride in her work, and likes to achieve the desired results for all parties involved in a transaction.

In her spare time Sandra enjoys camping with her young family, travelling, exploring true crime stories, Zumba and progressing in her most recent hobby which is stand up paddle boarding. Sandra also speaks fluent Polish.

Landlord's dispensation for major works: getting it right

Many residential landlords will be familiar with the requirement to consult with tenants before major works are carried out. The landlord's right to seek dispensation from the Tribunal where it has failed to consult is perhaps less well understood. In a recent Upper Tribunal appeal, Hughes Paddison successfully challenged the First Tier Tribunal’s interpretation of the law. New Digital LPAs- A welcome reform or a minefield

The OPG registered a record 1,073,032 LPAs in 2022-2023. Concerns over the paper-based system led to reforms, culminating in the Powers of Attorney Act 2023 for a safer and simpler process.
