As a member of Resolution and the Family Mediation Counsel, Jennifer Allen is committed to keeping issues that arise between couples after the breakdown of their relationship, out-of-court, so far as possible. One way in which this can be achieved is through mediation or more specifically hybrid mediation. Hybrid mediation brings together the best of both family and civil mediation models and is a time-tested option when considering your mediation options.
Can we mediate from different locations
The beauty of mediation is that we can be very flexible and adapt how we work with our clients to ensure that our clients feel safe and content in the environment that mediation is being conducted within.
It may well be that it suits our clients for mediation to be coordinated remotely over or via Zoom, Teams or a platform of your choice.
Alternatively, you may feel you wish to attend our offices as this is a neutral location. Within our offices we have facilities to suit your requests. Mediation can still work, and you can still achieve a resolution or agreement without being in the same room or space with the other person, if that is something that you wish to avoid. You do not have to spend time with the other person you are in mediation with if you choose not to.
Jennifer and Jane will discuss with each and every client what suits them best and what they feel most comfortable to enable them to find their way to resolving a disagreement without being, for example, in direct contact, if this would impact the way in which they felt about being able to express their feelings or thoughts in mediation.
